Description: Pop3Watch is a tray notification plug-in which checks your POP3 mailbox. When the server is checked, the icon in the tray will be changed to indicate if there is some mail in your mailbox. The tooltip associated with the icon will also be changed to indicate the number of e-mails waiting and the total size of all the e-mails.

It's fine, except it should also:
-within the tool tip popup, it should list from who the emails are from
-a right-click menu should allow for easy deletion of unwanted emails
i have a serious spam issue with my home email and this would greatly help. loading heavy outlook just to deal with 10 spam emails is rough on my crappy laptop :)

Well it is a fine idea but it doesn`t work on my computer. Maybye because i am behind a proxy server? I don`t see any options to configure it. :(

could do with an option for changing how ofter the mail account is checked. ie every 1 min / 5 mins ..etc but besides that, very useful tool

Can setup 4 POP accounts. Pretty good I say. BTW to change the pop check frequency you just use A Master to setup the plugin :)
One minor suggestion. The icon is pretty small on my taskbar. How about like other shell replacements out there of making a big bar appearing permanently on the top/bottom of the screen saying "You have 1 New Message" just to make it more obvious. Other than that it is a great plugin.

If I'm correct I don't believe Hotmail can be monitored with this since it is web based. Am I wrong or is there a simple solution for this?

This is a really useful plugin, although it needs some sort of alert when a mail is recieved, and it needs to have a feature allowing open your e-mail program from the plug-in

I don't get -any- tooltips showing the number of e-mail with the Aston XP theme. When I tried a different theme, the rightmost icon displayed a tooltip, but the one to the left (I have 2 e-mail acounts set-up) displayed the tooltip for the icon to the left of it!
This would be a -great- plugin, if the tooltips actually worked with all of the themes or at the very least with the OFFICIAL themes. :/

This is a great program...one of my most used! My email server recently went to ssl login, so this program no longer works for me.
Please add ssl support for secure pop3 login, and also the option of a sound (user selectable) being played when a new email arrives.
