    BinaryClock 1.1 by Risko 2004
IMHO, it's not for common people... ;)

    How it work:
    -sample: The screenshot represent 23:25:38

:the first culomn are tens of hours in binary system
:the second culomn are ones of hours in binary system
    :the 3rd - 10 x minutes
    :the 4th - 1 x minutes
    :the 5th - 10 x seconds
    :the 6th - 1 x seconds

... if you don't like it, please do not use it. it's not good for you healt ...

    WN in 1.1:
    - added constant color instead of inverted
    - added 12 hour format for tim

This is really kewl :P I like counting in binary digits, but this one's quite hard to read I think... That's what the 9 is for... (or actually why I didn't give the 10). Waiting for more clocks :)
    Greetings,

    Michael

idea is good... but realy, this clock is very big... minimazing using configuration: only corrupts the clock...
    fix this plaese... (razve trudno...)

it gets a seven because i cant change it to standard time, i really dont like to read military time. looking out the window tells me if its AM or PM, so i dont need an indicator for that.

after using for awhile....(minimises all windows and stares at it for a bit) its hypnotic like a lava-lamp.

My only complaint is that simple inversion works beautifully on some backgrounds, but on others (im working on entirely blue) it introduces colors that look very out of place. (orange in entirely blue theme! ugh!)

TO make it skinnable, all that would have been necessary is to provide a switch from inversion-mode to skin-mode, and allow for two images (on/off) and a separation distance variable.

Do this, and thou shalt hypnotise an entire generation. (runs away from clock!)

Wow - this is great. Why buy the LED Binary Clock from ThinkGeek when you can have this right on your Desktop!

Perfect 10! I love it. Took me about 1 hour to finally learn it. But it's great. I told some friends, and they called me weird :) Yay! :D Good job.

Nice job. I love how none of my friends and co-workers cannot figure out how it is a clock. The best part has to be that they ask me what time it is and I tell them, exactly what time it is and they cannot figure out how to read it. ^_^

I've been in EET for 4 years now and I still can't count in binary in my head. Kind of scary if you think about it. Great idea

    Awesome idea!
Only that solid color still doesn't work properly (it still has ~90% chance to work as inverted when set to solid color of my choice (platform: Windows 98 SE)).

    Nice.
It would be even nicer to make a clock w/ only three columns (hours, mins, secs), because that would be real "binary clock" (it looks kinda more real if you write 111010 instead of 101 1000).

Works fine, but only with inverted color...solid is not working at all - when selected, it either switches back to inverted or disappears completely :(. Some colors are working, i.e. yellow and green, but others no. If this is fixed, it will be the greatest plugin at all!

lol, brilliant! I've never seen a PC clock in binary. I've always wanted a binary clock but they can cost a lot and I's broke! lol. Any geek would love this! Give me a reason to reach back and remember the basics of reading binary code. Solid colors are working fine here, though sizing does compromise the usefulness of the clock.

Nice, though. Geeks of the world, rejoice!

Gave it a nine cause theres still a bug in it. Just to let you know about this bug, when its 12 oclock, the clock doesnt show the hours correctly from 12 to 1.

Only a 7 before your configuration for color needs serious work. I would select a color, hit apply, and it goes back to inverted! Changing it back to solid gives me the black color again! ARG!!

    Please fix it :)

I think, its a very cool plugin... i use it instead of the regular clock. its easy to read, if you know a little about binary codes.

    at least 1 question:
when will there be a binary date display too? ;-)

    Good Stuff.

Well I have a complain... when you do a 12 hour format... It does not show 12 when its midnight (I know how to read this thing). I think reason is it just got ignored when you added the 12 hour format... Well check it out yourself... Other than that... its good..

I wish this supported PNG skins.. Even if if it only let you define 2 png elements (on bit and off bit), of course being able to have a 3rd background png would be even better and if you really want it to be ultra fine then you could let it us define a 4th png that goes on top of the whole thing.. If we could do these things then this would be the sweetest thing and it would find it's way into many a theme I think.

Squares and corners do not work with my theme at all.

Great concept - I hope you develop it further so that it is more flexible for the rest of us.

Very cool one, but could you maybe make it skinnable??? Please!!! I was using the Kapsules Binary clock with my own skin for a while now, but it takes up too much memory, so this plugin would save me, if I could do my own skin to comply with my desktop... Pleeeeezzzzeeeee!!!!!!!!!!!
