Description: Aston Resource Monitor is a system resource and network usage monitor for Aston Shell 1.9 and above. Plugin is able to display information in two modes: graphical (using image list - a set of separate frames, compiled horizontally into a single image) and textual. You can use PNG images to create your own meters of any shape and form.
-- Note: This plug-in doesn't have a default skin. For using this plug-in You should add this plugin via A-master and launch amonitor.apc file.

I rate it only a seven strictly on the basis of no color variation. Due to the color of the bottom tags certin backgrounds will blur them out, otherwise nive plugin

This Plugins Rocks... It combines most wanted elements to monitor by users.. I liked it very much...
I gave it 9 because memory shows somehow different than other programs like ram idle ,, or task manger.. wonder why...
best luck to all Astonies...

This is a nice useful little plugin. I can understand the comments about the dark colour tones, but I just lightened the skin up using NetStudio, and it looks fine.

Works great IF you do exactly what it says to launch the .apc file. Doesn't show exactly what taskmanager shows, but it close enough.

It's pretty cool. Would be nice if you could select exactly what stats you'd like it to show though, like the desktop info plugin. For me the NET IN/OUT stats are pretty useless and waste of space on my desktop.

Hi ist a great plugin but i can't get the right settings for my Max Net Speed, the bar is either full or empty but i can't find the right settings
Date:04.10.2004 Name: Rate:
Love the plugin; works great on my desktop, but it crashes the laptop every single time it loads (similar to Polaris). Windows instantly reboots and says it recovered from a "Serious System Error." Can't skin it for this reason, but it looks great!
Date:04.12.2004 Name:Zzat Rate:
i'm just have aston 1.9 and i think its greate but like Chris I can't get the right settings for max net speed.... under 1000 it dose not move at all, and over 1000 its full (if i'm downloading)

I really like this plugin - I use it on a laptop - works without trouble. Would be nice to see a power meter for my battery on it too :)
Only thing that dosen't work how I would like are the network traffic meters - their limit is too low for my broadband connection despite the fact that I set the max limit as high as it will go.

Great plugin, but i have small problem. I have 1Mbit internet connection on 100Mbit network card and i am unable to set good value in MaxNetSpeed, maximum is 99999 which fulls bar at 100% at about 10KB/s. When set to 0, 100% is about 10-12MB/s (netcard speed). Could be this parameter changed to fix it?
Date:06.15.2004 Name:Xenthalon Rate:8
Yeah its really nice, but I also have the problem with MaxNetSpeed. If I enter something up to 999 the indicator shows nothing. And as soon as I enter some worth above 999 (eg 1000, 25574) it shows that I am downloading at full capacity. And in fact I am downloading with about 90 kb/s... Well, but except that it's nice to have :)

Can someone direct me to a place where the settings are ready? Or can someone sends me his/her own settings so I have the plugin ready? It SEEMS to be a good plugin WHEN is ready. At the moment I just see 4 circles with the words. No meters is counting. YOu can use the email I setup for my aston needs, I will get in this place later. Now I'll try the forum.

Date:03.26.2005 Name: Rate:9
this is the best polugin for aston ive seen........ BUT! like stated above (many times) you need to fix the NET in NET out .. it is very quarky andf ive only got it to work twice. ive been waitng some 1 1/2 years now.....is it really that hard? or is someone just lazy.......
Date:04.01.2005 Name:Bobus Rate:3
I was looking long for something like this, but the problem is that it doesnt work correctly.
1. It shows about 350MB of free RAM when I physically have 256MB. 2. My Net in/out should be scaled from 0KB to 500KB at least - but the plugin is overloaded whenever you get over 20KB - it would not work even if I connected through a mobile phone!
The conclusion is that the only thing that works is CPU meter. Not good...
Date:04.27.2005 Name: Rate:7
Great, but still show Page File usage memory instead of Physical memory, I am wondering when they gonna fix it..
Date:04.28.2005 Name:Mizu Rate:
Yes, great plugin, but what about a single meter for max. download speed and a single meter for max. upload speed? And, of course, fix the memory problem is needed:-) PF usage isnt so immporant, i think, but most usefull is to know large of the free physical memory:-) Thanks

Can someone please send me the settings? E-mail them for me. Thanks!
Date:06.15.2007 Name:subscript Rate:7
The net values are for the plugin's update interval which is 800ms in the default config file. "Elapse" field at the bottom of the plugin settings. Change "Elapse" value to 1000 and the plugin will display your actual bytes per second (B/s). "MaxNetSpeed" is in bits per second (b/s). A value of "8000" equals 1 KB/s.
It would be very nice if Max in/out speeds could be set independently. My cable connection is 10:1 down/up... Having selectable things to monitor would be awesome, but that would make the plugin and skinning exponentially more complex.
Date:10.07.2007 Name:Ollaff Rate:
I set "MaxNetSpeed" to 8388608 and that worked for me.
