great skin, astamp wouldnt work till i made a folder called plug ins, and placed the winamp icons in the folder. i will try the plalist skin as above. still having trouble getting the other stuff working. please let me know if u have any advice. thanks

In the icons folder there is only a bar, and in the desktop it only shows mozilla kind of icon.

Sorry, Kael. I don't do icons, and everyone of my themes honestly reflects that fact. I don't pretend to do otherwise, and they were never advertised in the theme's description, either.
If your entire desktop is just showing some kind of mozilla icon, I suspect you have an installation issue.

SacredTBag- that's why the Rainmeter link is included. Sysmetrix handles its alpha-transparency very different (it's in the SMX documentation).

I fixed the issue after a format and now it works perfect..it is sure a one hell of a theme and i am sorry for the grade before because of that and of the icons, but maybe in a future something more futuristic will appear that make you fell like a the pc is more alive.

70sMark, download the more recent update at DeviantArt at the link I gave above (7/24, I think) to resolve the playlist issue.
Use the RainMeter skin instead of Sysmetrix. As mentioned above, Sysmetrix alpha-transparency doesn't like Aston for whatever reason. The rainmeter skin should work fine.
Make sure you have Aston Clock downloaded, installed, and activated in order for the clock at screen center to function.
This should hopefully resolve the issues you're experiencing! :)

I love this skin, nice work mrbiotech. But am having a couple of problems
*I did what Laidback did but now its not grey its black, i cant get it to match the background.
*I cant get the winamp playlist to work
*Cant get the date in the middle to work either.
And i also have a question the theme is one of the best ive ever seen, but do all the windows stay the same. For ex. i open my documents or opera (browser) and its still looks like the windows XP i have.

Andrew- The DL issue can be resolved by install 7Zip to decompress the RAR compressed files.

For the rest of you, keep playing/tweaking - I managed to get everything to work except for Sysmetric (as explained in comments above with transparencies).
mrbiotech: Do you have plans in the future for skinning the EQ and adding buttons to your playlist skin for adding directories etc? I would LOVE to see what else you can do with this! ;)
